My philosophy: “ Movement is a medicine for creating change in a person’s physical, emotional, and mental states.” (Carol Welch) We’re not simply changing how you look on the outside; we’re also changing how you feel on the inside.
I have exercised regularly for two and a half years. Recently, however, my motivation to get to the gym decreased, and my weight increased as a result. My problem wasn’t that I didn’t know what to do, it was that I didn’t have the accountability, discipline, and motivation to follow-through with what I knew. I love group fitness classes, but I started talking myself out of going because the classes would still go on whether I was there or at home. I knew I had to do something to get back on track so I started to train with Jonathan three days a week. So far I have only missed one of ten sessions (not bad), and I have lost inches and gained a much more toned physique. I’ve gotten so many compliments from people at work and the gym regarding the results. It does take work, a lot of sweat and perseverance but having someone waiting on me (and only me) to get to the gym is completely what I needed.
